Somber Rainy Morning

Word of the day:  benedict\BEN-uh-dikt\ noun: a newly married man who has long been a bachelor.

"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself."  Anna Quindlen, Writer

This morning on my rainy drive into work, I was, as usual, listening to NPR's "Morning Edition" and a report about the Zacharias Moussaoui trial and the applicaton of the death penalty in his case.  The guest the host was interviewing was Hamilton Peterson, the President of the group "Families of Flight 93".  Hamilton lost both his father and stepmother on the crashing of UA 93 in the fields of Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001.  I was very saddened about Hamilton's loss. He is such a wonderful man.  A man full of joy, life, and spirit.  He was also one of my professors in law school.
