A Woman Is Stabbed After A Fight At A Local Night Spot.
It happened Saturday night at New Beginnings on Bristol Highway. When police arrived they were told a woman had been stabbed just below her left shoulder. Witnesses say that Jessica Barry was fighting with another woman when she stabbed her. When police searched Barry they found a plastic bag containing several Lortabs. Barry tried to swallow the bag, but officers were able to gain control of her. Barry is charged with assault, resisting arrest tampering with evidence as well and drug charges.
